To be Honest, I always wanted to cover a Michael Jackson song and many people refused it for his situations with all scandals and etc..
But i'm gonna think of something later and i gurantee that it's gonna be a blast ;-)

It's sad that it took so many posts for someone to mention this. Lemur Voice's cover of "Beat It" from the 1999 album Divided is an example of what a cover should be. Awesome.

Heh, I was actually going to mention it yesterday, but my cat was blocking the keyboard (but not the mouse) and I figured I'd click through the easy way and then come back later.

LV's cover is really amazing. I first heard it at someone's apartment in Tilburg NL the morning of ProgPower Europe in 1999 -- the people I was with knew the band and had a copy of Divided, and of course LV also played the festival that year. At first I thought the cover was a joke.....then the fullness hit me and I thought "Right on!"
