Frank Zappa on an old 80's show called "Crossfire" defending the lyrical content of his albums, and in the process manages to rip on apple pie institutions like the bible, the USA's "founding fathers".

Dude, thank you so much for posting this, I have never heard of it before. But when is it in Australia? I have heard of the Final Fantasy Orchestra coming early next year, with Arnie Roth conducting. But no mention of Uematsu coming.

Not sure if Uematsu will come out.

have a friend who was part of the last Squaresoft choir here in Oz and she said that Uematsu came out to watch but not perform.
Would be great to see The Black Mages live on stage, especially with an symphony orchestra because their new CD is meant to have an opera piece on it.

any details on the next Square orchestra concert though?

Uematsu has said in many interviews that international tours with him (and The Black Mages) are very unlikely. Keep in mind that he already has a very lucrative career and is in pretty much constant demand as a composer and studio musician in one of the fastest moving and most cut-throat segments of the entertainment industry around - video games. Playing shows in Japan is one thing but you probably have better odds of seeing Led Zeppelin play here.

I think you are talking about "PLAY" The Video Game Symphony. Because I don't remember any Square Enix music come out here alone. If I missed I will be greatly pissed off.
