Rare katatonia releases

Rate your opinion about the three most rare katatonia-releases!
For example, mine:

1. Jhva Elohim Meth
2. Saw you Drown
3. Sounds of Decay

Damn, I would really like these.

The "original" Sounds of Decay is still available in some shops here in Austria, so I wouldn't call it that rare.

My list would be:

1. "brutal" version of Sounds of Decay (if it really exists...!?)
2. Saw you Drown EP
3. Primodorial Split
(also the W.A.R. Compilation Vol. I)

And dance of december souls can't be that rare, is it? I think Discouraged ones or Brave murder day is more rare, at least here in Sweden. It's pretty hard to find them actually...

well it doesnt seems a EP for me , with 5 songs !, thats why I like Lacuna Coil Ep's because they are like albums , but well i dont have the cd and I havent seen its a Ep...

oh and Dance.. is very rare here

Too bad about dance of december souls. One of their greatest IMO. And it's also their first album. The first one, jhva elohim meth, is an EP. Basicly because it IS an EP
But more concrete because it's only 17 minutes long, and "without god" is one of the tracks on Dance of December Souls, which makes jhva elohim meth an EP.

Do you mean rate which ones are the rarest, or rate the content? If the latter, I've always thought that Decay and SYD contain some of Katatonia's best material, both of the non-album tracks on the latter are incredible. I'm not sure how rare the original pressing of DODS is...

What is different about the Saw You Drown releases?

The addition of the song "Scarlet Heavens". It's good. I have to hide my rare shit when people come over because they all want it.

I'd say Saw You Drown and Jhva are the two rarest in the States.

wasn't the "original version" never released? i thought it was not out for public...

i think the funerals to come ep and the discouraged ones ep are the best rare cd's of katatonia.

DODS isn't rare, perhaps the first couple of cd's are, but you can buy it everywhere.

Brave Murder Day would also make my choice!

Jhva Elohim Meth is not that rare... I had no difficulty to find it here in Switzerland... I only paid it 14euros...

All official russian Katatonia releases (on IROND and SOYUZ labels) are VERY rare for foregns, cos it cannot be sold outside of russia. I can give you more info about it if you want...

give me some please. If there is a market for it, the Cd's can be imported.
So, i think it's weird that Do album with the SYD mini isn't to be found in other countries.
