RATM - Are they still relevant?

Audioslave's debut album is freaking stellar. I still listen to it. Rage is better, though. Thier music is so powerful!

At the end of the day, RATM were always better than Audioslave, some people just don't know when to stop.
And I think they'll always have relevance(sp?) because people still listen to them. (I meant in a political sense, i know people still listen to them)

Just my opinion.

P.s They fucking rock.

Then don't pay attention the lyrics. Morello is a great guitarist. He pretty much makes the band.

Ummm no. De la Rocha's lyrics and, more importantly, passion were what made the band. Morello is the most overrated guitarist ever. All their riffs sound the same, that fucking bouncy shit, and then don't get me started on those wannabe Hendrix guitar-molesting solos.

And yes, I agree with whoever said that the lyrics got better on Battle of Los Angeles than the often pubescent sounding rebellion lyrics of the self titled.

This is so wrong it's not even funny. The exact opposite is the actual truth.

I don't get how RATM are not metal. They are the loudest band on the planet. Get some open minds you guys. ahh

RATM fucking rules. I agree with almost nothing de la Rocha says, but that band fucking grooves. Don't care what anyone else says. One of the best bands of the nineties.

I completely agree. His lyrics go in one ear and come out the other. Their music just rocks. Their self-titled album owns! I was just listening to "Freedom" on Pandora radio.

The marketing company I work for is actually doing a promotion for Energizer and their role in the new Pandora message board. You can check it out at: youcastcorp.com/energizer/pandora. I'm in charge of populating the metal section.

RATM have Metal moments. But I wouldn't call them a Metal band. They don't really fit the label.
