I recently somehow managed to scratch up my Anthems CD when I dropped it, and so I'm looking to get a replacement... I heard something about a re-mastered ATTWAD that was released a while back (2004 I think it was)... anyone know anything about that?

I'd really love to hear it because since I got the Emperor tab book and am learning some songs from it I can see that there are a LOT more to the songs in the form of intricate lead work and such that are virtually inaudible because of the production.

its a box set type thing. you can pre-order it at plastichead. its just a repackaged version of the first remaster. i guess if you had to replace your old version, its worth picking up the new one

I have the remastered Anthems from 2004, it's good and has a couple bonus tracks. I also have an Emperor tab book and learned With Srength I Burn and I Am The Black Wizards but with Strength I burn is wrong to an extent on the certain riff played/number of times early on, what songs hav you learned from it?
I want to learn The Loss and Curse of Reverence and Anno A Satana sometime. :)

Loss & Curse of Reverance isn't too difficult...one of the few tracks where the guitar tracks (all fifty of them) aren't buried underneath everything else (except for that little synth/keyboard part)

^Yes, the atmosphere makes that record for me, definitely my favrite Emperor, though I've only heard that and Anthems and Prometheus though I do plan on getting Emperor/Wrath of The Tyrant sometime, should be good, Night of The Graveless Souls is great.

well, the entire emperor catalog is worth buying. wrath of the tyrant is an important album to black metal, however most of the songs on wrath of the tyrant are also on in the nightside eclipse, just with "raw" production and more satan laughs hehe.

i own em all, on cd and pic disc. well, i actually need the prometheus pic disk, if anyone has it...
