Aztec and Aztec Autumn by Gary Jennings. Both are masterpieces that will change the way you view the world, and your own pre-conceived history(hopefully.)

The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Simply one of the most interesting and hilarious novels you'll ever come across. A must read.

Bored of the Rings is pretty funny. I love all of Tolkien's works. Just wish they wouldn't have made that movie. . .

Have you guys ever heard of the trilogy WHITE GAURDIANS?
I have the 3rd book, Iknow, i should have waited.....like i was saying, I have the third book, its about this real weird TIME TRAVEL story. One of the main characters is a guitar player...he finds a GIBSON guitar in some ancient RUINS........hahaha...i wish i could find the 1st and 2nd book.The whole deal isnt about the guitar BTW.
 
last book i read was nabokov's laughter in the dark..very very good,i'm looking for lolita now
also,jostein gaarder's books i've read are great,but maybe too simple for you..herman hesse too;i love that stuff,in simple books lie the biggest truths but maybe you're into more compleicated stuff
i just started umberto eco's the name of the rose...it's BIG,i hope i wont get bored quickly,i've already failed once in reading it..ask me in at least a week if you're still interested in what i think about it
if you wanna read a nice story and learn some stuff about everyday life in ancient egypt,i recommend the trilogy by christian jacques or jacq or sth named the judge of egypt or sth like that.o well.
 
If you like KISS, the Gene Simmons autobiography "Kiss and Make -Up" is a good read. He is brutally honest towards all members of KISS (past and present) and he doesn't care about hurting anyone's feelings and he tells it like it is.
