reamp help with a line 6 head

Ok I'm recording a band tomorrow and guitarist uses a line 6 head with all the effects and stuff built in the head. Now i want to be able to reamp but how do i get his effects in the signal so i can reamp....

Its easy if they use a pedal like wah or whatever cause you can run before the direct box but all his effects are in the head. I'm i just screwed and try and make the best with recording the line 6 live?

Any help would be great guys

Yeah... you're screwed as far as reamping... your best bet at this point would be to get him to turn off the head's cab sim and use impulses...

Just record a dry signal and apply effects later with his same settings.

yea he actually only uses effects on his solo's...

So i took a dry signal and then i used his vetta II head and ran direct out instead of micing cab and it honestly sounds mean. Got a tone like pod xt pro or simular to like what people are getting on here with them anyway. I was pretty impressed but i got a signal to reamp if needed
