hey dudes,

this is the second project ive worked on, and im curious to see if anyone is interested in doing some reamps for me. the kids in the band are insistent on getting them reamped even though they're only myspace/facebook demos.

if you're interested perhaps you could provide me with a link to your work and pm me a rough price?

the project is 3 songs and an intro, i think all the songs are under 3 minutes long, and the intro under one.

only finished tracking yesterday so i'm still editing etc, so no need to attack the mix just yet :p

edit: heres a super rough unmixed backing track and some DI's if anyone wants to try out a song, the bands chasing a similar guitar tone to thy art is murders 'infinite death' EP.

Yeah man you should just put em up (or just one) and let anyone take a go at it, and choose what you like best. I'll give it a go.

pm'd you sam. good thinking man, the guys in the band are all anitsims is my main concern, but hell, i doubt they'd know the difference. im still editing and shit but i'll try chuck up a rough track tonight with DI's. i just figured dudes wouldn't be keen to chuck a track through their rig for free!

sorry toms were triggered too. as i said it's not mixed yet. i'm not really looking for a mix my song though, then i wont learn. im editing a track now should be up in 20, drums, bass DI and guitar DIs

yeah i was just going to mix it for practice and then give you the reamped guitars separately, also it's easier to reamp with the whole mix playing

hey guys. heres the files. backing track and DI's. the bass tone is crap i havn't worked on it just exported the tracks as ive got other work to do at the moment. if its unworkable i'll do it again. the band are chasing a guitar tone similiar to thy art is murders 'infinite death' EP. it's still uploading so give it a while.

as i said, this isn't a 'mix' its just a super rough guide for reamps so you guys can give it a shot. i havn't entered the 'mixing' phase at all yet.
cheers dudes and goodluck!

Here ya go :) Little snippet of my attempt, went for a pretty mean sounding tone. The DI tracks are somewhat noisy to be honoust, especially in the ' chugga chugga' parts. And the backing-track is all over the place frequency wise, but you already said it wasn't mixed.
