i just saw that a few times it failed....... what program are you using for ftp transfers? try a different one..... ?

I was using CuteFTP... I'll try with WS_FTP Pro

If you're in X (KDE/Gnome/Fluxbox, whatever), kopete or gaim (or amsn) are your friends. Otherwise I couldn't tell since I only used centericq too for console access.

thanks to everybodys support, i have successfully downloaded the full mpg version of reap n roll. thanks again everyone, especially d3vlin. its an awesome video by the way! theres lots of stuff in chokehold that i never even noticed, like little things here and there.
