Im getting new heads for my 5 piece (of shit) Tama Royalstar, including new snare (top and bottom). Im just wondering what all of you would reccomend for top/bottoms. Thanks!

im using an Evans genera G2 coated for the batter head of my Tama 8 piece starclassic performer EFX, and im really likin it. for the bottom head, im just using whatever head came with it. its fine. i also use one Zero-Ring (the middle of the three it came with) to take away some ring. it kinda depends on what style of music ur playing(me = progmetal). are there any recordings that your trying to get it to sound like? the size of the drum matters, too. (mine's a 5" x 14")
