Recommend a cheap audio interface for guitar recording

Same problems as other focusrite interfaces regarding levels, excluding top ones (PRO 40 at least).
Why Focusrite thinks that pickups need such amount of amplification?
+13 db of gain at minimum is overkill... and no Pad.
To pass through converters signal of many pickups should be reduced, not amplified.

Do you ever post about anything that doesn't have something to do with the level of DI signals?!
