Do you have the loop active? There is a known issue of the crappy SS loop, even the designer himself says in the manual that the loop is nasty.....

Edit- Nevermind the problem was in the 'Dynamic Drive' for the graphic eq.... It uses TL072's, and if overloaded they start making the thing sound like a SS pedal.....
