Record some Opeth w/guitars part 3

Thanks for the comments. I have all of Forest of October. Its a little sloppy because we were to lazy to record indivdual tracks because of tempo changes and stuff so we ended up just playing it all the way through. I cant upload it though cuz its 11 mb and yahoo only lets me do 5 at once :yuk: .

Okay...it took me about two hours to get my damn geocities site up and running so I hope these work. I recorded these with windows recorder so the sound quality isn't that great - Random parts from random songs -

Umm.. ask people politely not to download so much from your website? haha. Well unless you pay for a plan that supports a higher transfer cap, then I'm afraid you're stuck with it, much as I am aswell.

This is a bit grainy, but I just got a hold of a software amp simulator and am using that for 100% of the tone, with the guitar plugged right into the comp. There's alot to fiddle around with and I ain't quite there yet...

(the rhythm you use for this kinda makes it sound like a irish drinking song or something. And of course, Irish drinking songs fukkin' rock!!!!!!)

I disagree with suislide. The direct in tone with all that distortion kinda makes it sound like Sonic Youth. :loco:
lol! Gotta love irish drinking songs. Seeing that I'm about 50% irish. Maybe my irishness came through the recording. Buuuuuuut anyway, thanks. Sonic Youth, haha.

Yeah I realise it's really bad quality. For one thing, its recorded at 56kb/s to keep the size of the file down. Secondly, I'm just going straight from the pedal to my computer, and recording with Windows Sound Recorder. I really need to find some good multi-track recording software that is easy to use. Just about everything I've tried is just impossible to use.
