Recto substitute

That's interesting about the MK III / IV with he 5150 and Framus is the Killswitch sound. MK III's are only like $700 used. I did own a Framus Cobra and it was the heaviest sounding amp I ever played through. I used a 30 band EQ in the loop too. Maybe I will get another.

You could just get the Fame Overkill, that's the identical amp (not just a copy)...relabeled for musicstore germany....and it's cheaper..:)

Yeah, I know its cheaper but they didnt make an smart move with that. Fame is generally known for cheap products (cheap mics) and not for relabelled badass amps :zombie: So re-selling it on ebay might be a bitch

Plus, I have this feeling Laboga will be turning heads fairly soon, infact theyre doring already right now :notworthy I think they used a Laboga mr Hector annihilator version on the last Annihilator album, Metal. That one is pretty good if you like their style

just don't ever use a S.S. Crate, EVER.

Correction: If you get an S.S. Crate, don't use it expecting it to morph into a Recto before your eyes. They're fucking good amps if you know how to use them, but most people just decide that everything should sound like a 5150 or a Triple Rec and when they can't get that out of a Crate they make it sound like it's the amp's fault.
