That is true. Nobody is perfect, but I think everyone can try his best.
It's just that sometimes people are so obviously ingnorant, I wanna punch them in their faces.. (Not referring to anyone in particular here.. I'm thinking more of people I've met in the US, but you'll find them anywhere else, too.)

im not completely ignorant of the world's problems, i just dont really care. ive got my own (admittedly 1st world) issues to deal with. i cant save the world, and who's to say the truly shitty places are capable/deserving of being 'saved' anyway? is 'the west' in all its evil exploitative glory really to blame for everything, or do individuals have to take some kind of responsibility for keeping the cycle of shit going? if resources and food have been lacking generation after generation is the solution to have more babies or maybe to FUCKING MOVE WHERE THERE IS FOOD? who knows, certainly not me.

What startles me here sometimes is that educated people, of whom I would think they question what they're told, are sometimes just plain ignorant.
When I think of ignorant people in Germany, then it's usually people who have little or no education, maybe not even employment, who's only leisure time activity is watching TV shows.
And I've talked about this with other Europeans here and they also agree..

Well, I think everyone should feel a little responsible for the world he lives in.
I don't know if that's just my personal perception but I feel like here in the US, individuality and personal freedom are of higher importance than in Europe.. Which would explain why people here "just don't care".. Maybe that's how it is in Europe by now, too.. lol.. I don't know.. haha

EDIT: I mean, I don't expect anybody to save the world, but it would help to be at least aware of problems.. And raise your voice if it's necessary. I can't stand people who are living their happy lives not being aware of anything, pretending there is only love and peace and everything is just fine, when it's actually not.

Apparently the album was supposed to be released in January or February and then it was moved to April and then postponed again. I have read rumors about May release. So far, nothing official has been announced but CM's release schedule is available in their website and it's full until April. So, it seems May is the month they are targeting. I guess CM doesn't want to release The Obsidian Conspiracy too quickly after the new Dark Tranquillity album so they are gonna take their time. Or perhaps the album isn't fully completed yet.
