Remember Tomorrow

The Opeth cover is good, but Maiden were pretty much untouchable back then. !:kickass:
Yup, their first seven albums were absolutely flawless... Come to think of it, they're starting to release albums now that rival their earlier masterpieces (BRAVE NEW WORLD, ROCK IN RIO, and DANCE OF DEATH are three homeruns in a row, as far as I'm concerned).

Iron Maiden will always hit homeruns if you consider making the same album over and over again a homerun.
You obviously haven't heard DANCE OF DEATH... Incredible album with some songs that sound unlike anything they've ever done ("Paschendale," for instance). Besides, why is it that people expect bands to jump through flaming hoops every time they release an album in order for them to be considered great? Just because a band doesn't reinvent their sound every two years doesn't mean they're not a great band...

Yes, I have heard "DANCE OF DEATH". Incredibly average album like everything they've ever done before. I don't expect them to jump through flaming hoops at all but its been a hell of a lot longer than 2 years since they did anything remotely interesting. The same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again doesn't appeal to me.
