ReValver Mk II candidate 1 is now downloadable now!

It doesn't if you use it within a vst host !!!
But you can't save presets.

Can you explain please what you mean? is there a way to disable this "bleep" i hear every few seconds?

BTW i think the dual recto model is really impressive so far but... anyone noticed that it's weird when playing fast solos in the higher frets?

The "bleep" you hear every few seconds is because it's a demo, you'll get rid of it when you'll be able to buy the final version very soon I guess.

Hey Brett i thought i read somewhere awhile ago you were comparing this up there with or above the pod xt?

Just wondering your honest thoughts on it. I'm debating buying this or some hardware but i need a good amp sim plug and nothing else has even came close to being good or great to me yet...

mh i feel like a complete noob here ...
i go line in with the guitar right ??
all i get is like a crap distorted quiet signal.
whaddami doin wrong?

I think that the guitar signal isn't strong enough to go straight to a soundcard's line in... you need some kind of DI box... I use PodXt as a DI to use ReValver.

My honest thoughts on it are that I just opened it, plugged the guitar and was like "WOW", the feeling is very good, unlike on the Pod where, when you play it, you don't feel like playing through an amp if you see what I mean, and just played with it for hours. Some things can still be slightly improved of course, but so far this is to me the best guitar sim. But it was an earlier version and there has been some discussions on the forum for beta-testers about the newest one not sounding as good (didn't test them since I'm on Mac and the developper is focussing on PC for the moment as the release date was getting closer and closer), but the final PC version will be out tonight, so I guess this will be solved.
Cheers,

Brett

imho revalver distorts quite organic like
you would expect from a tubeamplifier.
great versatility, the other ampsimulations sound great.
plus its more userfriendly than the pod.
but the amps in itself do sound a bit muddy and
muffled - the kitty i.e. doesnt really resemble the original amp.
dimitar, did you use any post eq ?
