REVALVER MK III JSX CLIP!!

That's fucking gay. Boogex = PC. I use Macs only. I mean....Aleksy said that he's been working on an OS X version of Boogex but he doesn't even have an estimated release date. Anybody know if that one guy's impulse plug-in works? The guy that made a free one on here.

I will buy ReValverMKIII...but I refuse to pay $250 or more JUST for an impulse plug...ReValver at least has more than just impulses, obviously, so I can justify spending that much.

New RevalverMkIII clip (same amps used as before, that is 6505, 6505+, JSX and TripleXXX)

Sounds awesome Brett...I'm already sold on RmkII, haha. But seriously, we need to hear some guitars in a mix. That will really make or break how good this ampsim really is. Honestly the first 6505 clip with drums (not yours Brett) didn't have that good of a tone dialed in to begin with, so once the drums came in it didn't make much of a difference. Too gainy IMO. You seem to be able to dial in some good sounds with it though. Having something else in the mix would really seal the deal. :)

You got the guitars, just program a drum parts behind them and play bass to it ;)
I just bought SIR 2 a couple of hours ago, it's finally available for Mac (Intel AND PowerPC luckily, which was not supposed to be the case), it's $189 -25% if you're a student), very good.

With Drums

I have no idea how good/bad it sounds since I mixed this on my PowerBook's speakers while at work, lol. Sounds killer on those though, haha.

Very nice, Brett! Don't think I'm going to sell my 5150, mesa cab & Great River pre just yet, but that's by far the best sounding software I've heard to date.

You know, Revalver seems like it's gonna be amazing, and I'm almost certainly gonna get it, but my paranoia and thoroughness necessitates me to ask what other options there are (Amplitube Metal, for example), and whether you guys think they'll be worth considering. I have yet to see any, but I gotta ask!

did a reamp-job in the other forum, maybe you like it:

post a di signal with dry guitars and tell me what you want to hear (clean, crunch, what amp model, cab) and I post the wet signal here!

Ok.

Nothing to fancy , I didnt have much time.

Cleans : HB ´s / Foxy or the new ValveKings

Overdrive: New "Kitty" normal

Lead: JSX ? Try something smooth.

The gear: Fender Ash Strat, Hohner the Jack ( Seymour Classic 59 ) into Electro Harmonix LPB2 , Emu 1820 soundcard.

Thanks for your effort.

Haha, don't worry Brett, I have every intention of being legit with this one and all software in the future :) Thanks for the heads-up on the program man, that's what I figured!
