Revalver MkIII mix!

Can anyone please give criticism on this mix!!!!
i want opinions on how to improve the guitar and drum sound!

The bass guitar and orchestra is coming tomorrow!

Drums = DFH Superior
Guitars = Revalver MKIII

guitars sound a bit too fizzy for my taste, ease up on the treble/presence. I'd like to hear it with bass...

Word. The bass guitar is great though! Don't forget sidechaining to keep that bass alive.

I used cubase's multiband compressor and waves RBass for the bass guitar!

im relatily new to recording, what does side chaining mean?

yeah and lay some grit over the bass.

i just compared my mix to the organic Hallucinosis album! and my mix is basically the same quallity and overall sound but how the Fuck do they get their songs so loud without distorting it!

I use waves L3 ultra maximizer!

Hahahahahahaha, uh oh...it takes a lot more than one plugin, and L3 sucks anyway! Get yourself Voxengo Elephant V3.1, use the "El Uni" mode, and you should be a whole lot closer

well I would disagree on saying l3 sucks, but whatever works good with yourself. getting something loud and punchy starts at tracking not everything is made in the mastering stage - not at all

Here's the finished mix with orchestra and everything!
Now its just tweaking!

I've given the kick more low end and put a tube screamer on the bass!

double bass sounds machine gun like, strings are too bright. everything else on the mix is good!

Yeah i forgot to humanize it! i'll go eq the strings a little!
