Eden's Fall- Harmony of Lies-CD (Nothing Heart Records)

This is Heavy Thrash/Power Metal going on. Its sounds like Forbidden meets Overkill to me me 2 80/90's Metal bands I hold a lot of fondness for. The solos are even very tastefully done and this really gives it that "Twist into form" Forbidden vibe. At time I hear a bit of Iced Earth as well esp in the higher vocal range. This really isn't a style been worked on much any longer in the US so I respect them greatly for trying to revive a great sound and style. If there were the old labels like Combat or Roadrunner of the 90's then Edens Fall would have had a major push by a bigger indie. If I can give them some advice if your looking for a label the one that would be most receptive to me at this time SPV. I really hope to hear more from this project as they make some very good songs and it didn't hurt to have Dan Swano mix the CD for you either. Give this band a chance and check it out they truly deserve it.
