RME ADI-8 Pro as master clock with Digi002R

What do you say? I'm using an Alesis AI-3 and Pro Tools in now the master clock. Those of you who use the RME it does work well as master using only ADAT right?
Any other opinios about the converters? If he hasn't sold it already the price seems decent.
 
I use an RME Fireface 800 as the master clock with two M-Audio Octanes connects via Lightpipe. It works perfectly. Also works great with BNC too.

Not sure about ADI-8 but I think it is the same "Steady Clock" technology.

That's not exactly what you were asking but I guess any info might help.
