Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
Ravi Shankar - Best Of
The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Twlight of the Idols
Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
Radiohead - Hail to the Thief
Fantômas - Delirivm Còrdia
Led Zeppelin III
Empyrium - Songs of Moors and Misty Fields
Nokturnal Mortum - Goat Horns

and of course, The Bastard and The August Engine from Hammers of Misfortune. :kickass:

Yeah, really, you can probably push the quality back to about 112 and fit even more on one CD too, because it's not like you will really notice the audio quality much in a car. MP3 players are the shit for car/portable usage.

Am I the only one who just discoverd that Alicia Keys is Ravi Shankar's daughter?!

Led Zeppelin III....surely their best. Love the bit in School of Rock when he sings along with Immigrant Song in the minivan...."Hammer of the Gods!!!!".

See if you can get an interview with Scalzi:

"er...you know that song The August Engine pt 2....well....er....it's awesome!".

I think you mean, Norah Jones ... Alicia Keys is a ghetto bird from NYC :D

don't forget to tell Ingrid about the tall, lanky fellow in NYC ... tell her I want to have kids with her and go on tour.

I do believe you should take Especially Likely Sloth to take your mind off the damn traffic THE WHOLE TRIP TO AND FROM SF. There isn't a single road in California that isn't bumper to bumper ever single hour of every single day!

You know, I'm only guessing but I think you'd have a better chance if you got her name right....

lurch: "Hello Ingrid"
girl: "It's Sigrid actually"
lurch: "Whatever..."

cd players in cars?
you modern capita;ist bastards
I have a tape player that s broken so I listen to mostly radio 2
no annoying young peoples music (pop) and some ok oldies

but last year when the fucker did work
i took the other half and sprog over the moutains in donegal and the overall winner in the tape deck with multiple plays was masters of reality 'deep in the hole'
excellent road music
danzig III came second I reckon

its not like agoraphobic nosebleed or today is the day goes own well on family outings haha
so when faced with a limited genre spectrum those are cool
this yaer with the tape deck broken and with mountain radio reception being shite we managed only a few good oldies on the radio

surprise play of highway star (dp) being the chief smile bringer...ah!

CD players are pretty much standard in new cars these days; at least in the US. :Spin:

aye J in NEW cars who the fuck can afford one of those? HAHA
my car is about 8-10 years old bought cheap off a mate
my last one was 16 years old when I bought it but had a great blauplunt stereo

mind you you lot pay less than half what we do for petrol and insurance
just like most things.....cds etc

Both my cars are 2002 models, but I've had the oldie cars before. My first car was a 1984 Honda Prelude, heh.

Luckily, any new cars we buy will be fairly cheap (compared to dealerships, etc) since my fiance works for a car rental company.

I still can't believe you pay that much for gas. I paid $1.78 the other day, FUCKING RIDICULOUS!
