I just got a message from Lion Music that the Freak Neil Inc. album will be released on the 21th of October. A complete new website is in production and will be online soon, more about that later.

. I always had that problem with playing instruments (flute, guitar, keyboards, bass ehem..).

It's pretty amazing indeed! I am a guitarist myself (you probaly noticed 
) but I knoe from a lot of bassplayers that they can't believe you have a thing like that, and it amazes them even more that you can actually play it!
BTW, I wonder how you give your basslessons, 'cause I know Roel Vink from Gouda is gonna get private-lessons from you (it's his fault that I like you guys ) And if you wanna have lessons from Marcel, you'll have to visit him, how about you?

Hmmm yeah I know. Both of my bros have a 5 string bass (one right- , the other lefthanded). It's a little too heavy for me. Drumsticks are much better

Well, as you might saw on another thread in this forum is that I put a pic. on it of Basgast 669 with the 9-string, and we were both pretty amazed that it isn't as (&*%#ing) heavy as we imagened! (<--is that spelled correctly?)

I do make the demo's for DNA all by myself (guitars, keys, bass and drums out of my keyboard), after that I theach them (bassgast 669 and Jako, the keyboard-player) to play it. So I do play bass sometimes.
We're still looking for a drummer living nearby Woerden between 15 and 18, Anyone?

Are you playing a 9-string bass on it? Is the music mostly bass driven or are there also accomplished lead solos and guest vocalists kicking ass?

Hey Batmura!
For this album I actually used all of my basses.
Don't expect a nice clean sound but loads of distortion and weird sounds!
Most of the solos were played by awesome guestmusicians and the vocals were done by four totally different but each great talented vocalists.
I hope you guys will like it!
