Rocktron Pro G.A.P. - Is this any good?

A friend of mine can get one dirt cheap, is this thing any good? Is it possible to squeeze some modern metal sounds out of it?

dirt cheap is always good, if you can get it for like 100-130$, then do so. If anything, it has lots of switching options and a built in noise gate. Sounds decent, not really modern, but good enough. It's a bitch to program though! I'd say go for it!
