I was really looking forward to Wastefall. I even have their video on my MySpace page right now. But.....
ZERO HOUR!!!       :notworthy

Friggin Cool!!! I look forward to seeing Jasun and Troy with Chris on the PP stage! I will see them locally too next month.

Go buy "Towers of Avarice" and thank me later. One of the greatest Prog Metal releases of all-time. It's with a different singer, than the one currently in the band.

I can't wait to see Chris perform with Zero Hour!!! Nothing against Wastefall, but I don't know a single track by them but have the entire Zero Hour catalog. With Chris on board, I think the new Zero Hour disc is going to be absolutely killer. Excellent choice for a replacement. I'm very happy with the change, but bummed for yet another headache for Glenn and the Wastefall fans.

Damn, I'm very sad that this happened :waah: Wastefall was one of the bands I was looking forward to the most, hopefully they will be able to come next time.

Dude don't even worry Zero Hour is more than an ample replacement!:notworthy
You gonna dig 'em, guaranteed.

check 'em out http://www.myspace.com/zerohourband

I have to say this. With the addition of Jorn and Zero Hour this fest has become one of the most anticpated of all the Prog Powers for me. Personal opinion

That is so cool to see someone that excited for two bands that were replacements this year. Given all the excitement surrounding both additions, they were obviously excellent choices, especially in light of exceedingly difficult circumstances.

Wastefall cannot be replaced! WHO??

Oh, ZERO HOUR? ohh! OK!!!:worship: I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER NOW.

I see this story is on Blabbermouth now.. basically what Glenn already wrote except for the bottom part:

"Other bands scheduled to perform at the ProgPower USA VII festival are EVERGREY, SAVAGE JORN, CIRCUS, EPICA, PYRAMAZE, FREAK KITCHEN, THUNDERSTONE, VISION DIVINE, and MERCENARY."

Savage Jorn? and Circus?

Whoa man I feel terrible for Glenn and what a pain this year has become. Don't worry though, we're all rooting for you and it sounds like you have excellent people, bands and otherwise, backing you up.

Now i have a new band to check out!

It's in my top 5 regardless of genre. But as a warning, it took multiple spins to "get".

Though I feel bad for Wastefall, I'm ecstatic that Zero Hour will be performing! It will be a treat to hear their new material, and it would be really interesting to see how Chris Salinas handles the older tunes. Much like Nevermore's replacement, this only makes me happier that I bought my Gold Badge.

Stay metal. Never rust.

...your kidding right? Power Prog West is a pretty awful line up. Outside of Prymary and Zero Hour, there isn't very much Prog on that bill. And pretty much no power metal either. I don't see how you can compare a mostly local line up, to this.

I wouldnt say every tour, let alone a headliner.........

I have seen them headline 4 times, bu then again I am out here in Cali...Its Power Prog West isn't something I would even compare to Prog Power USA. You may have but I wouldn't even come close to going there....

Do us a favor though, plase give a full detailed report...
