Roster Change!!

As long as Savage Circus, Mercenary, and Epica play all the rest can no-show, and I'd be okay with it.

OK... so when I saw the thread I started saying to myself, "Please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze."

I yelled so loud when I saw Zero Hour was replacing Wastefall, that I scared the crap out of my wife. This rules.

Zod

Heh.....I was thinking the same about Freak Kitchen..... :ill:

I had not been able to get a hold of any Wastefall cds, so I won;t miss much. Not sure I have anything by Zero Hour either come to think of it. Guess I had better start looking.

Due to unforeseen visa complications, Wastefall will not be able to perform at the festival this year. <SNIP> So it is with that bittersweet news that I can announce that Zero Hour have been tabbed as their replacement.

That's the worst and best news I've heard in a while.

It sucks that Wastefall had to cancel, as I'm really starting to get into them and they're one of the bands I was most looking forward to seeing.

However, you couldn't have found a better replacement in Zero Hour!!! I'm especially looking forward to seeing Chris perform with them. Loved Power of Omens, and though I wish they were still around, I'm glad Chris has found a worthy home for his voice. What I've heard of the new CD is *PHENOMENAL*, and I can't wait to hear more of it. I'm glad they're willing to play the opener slot, as I think they're well past "opener" status at this point....but hey, I'll take 'em wherever I can get 'em!!

Once again, Glenn...great job!!

Thanks,

Craig

Bear, if you had better taste in music, you'd realize that Nevermore is the best band on the planet and worth travelling to see, regardless of how frequently they tour.:heh:

I guess I will just to find a way to somehow deal with my mediocre taste in music to get through the day, maybe I will see the light someday....someday

Well, here's a sample of what you'll hear from them at ProgPower:

http://www.zerohourweb.com/music/Zero Hour-Evidence of the Unseen (Rough Mix-sample).mp3

(If the link doesn't work, go to www.zerohourweb.com - it's toward the bottom of their home page).

The CD being "pre-released" at PP this fall is their first CD with Chris Salinas (ex-Power of Omens) on vocals, and he's an AMAZING singer (and really nice guy, as are the other ZH guys). If you can find them, I highly recommend both Power of Omens discs, too...lasercd.com *might* have them, but I haven't checked.

Zero Hour's original singer was very good, too ("Metamorphosis" and "Towers of Avarice"), and the guy on "A Fragile Mind" was decent...but Chris kicks ass, though. :-)

thanks for the link, I am listening to it right now. So far I like this...I need to check more out by them. thanks again.

DAMNIT I gotta change my partying battle plans. Now I gotta find a way to party with the Twin Texans of Technical Terror, AND watch them on stage!

Crazy year. CRAAAAZY year.

I'm divided by this news. I'm half mad at Wastefall for not getting their Visas early enough in advance, but then the reasonable half says, "They're getting screwed by uncontrollable circumstances, just like Herman Li from Dragonforce being on the Terrorist Watch List when there's ANOTHER Herman Li out there giving him a bad name." I'm sure it's not a mistake they themselves made. It's gonna be some retarded government red tape BUUUULLSHIIIIIIT screwing them over.

WE'LL GET EM NEXT YEAR! Right?

Ya know Bryan, I'm also mad and happy for these news. And I totally agree about the red tape bullshit by our lovely border control guys...
