I've only got Serenades and The Silent Enigma, both of which rule (I still put 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Shroud Of Frost' on from time to time). Keep meaning to pick this up.
Only negative that comes to mind (and it's a mild negative at that) is the vocalist's vocals when they get a bit overdramatic at times... but yes, their leads and feedback swells have always been a very important part of their music.
Sentient = best intro ever. Along with Angelica and Suicide Veil my favourite track on this album. And Roy Harper can't really complain about the Hope cover either, another favourite of mine, especially if played live.
Vincent was still learning to sing. He took over the vocals after the Pentecost III EP. His voice has improved a lot over the past few years, but I actually like the "overdramatic" and sometimes out-of-tune vocals, they fit the atmosphere of the album, in my opinion.
