I was shocked at first, but Mendez actually looks awesome with short hair. I like that it's getting a bit lengthy again, it really suits him.

hahaha i respect his decision, i had long hair as a kid and i cut it, and i regreted it until i grew it out again, now its at my waist . i sure will miss the side to sidew though, that was classic opeth

I had long hair about 4 years back. Then I cut it, and eventually ended up with about 2 cm of hair. A year and a half back I decided to save up again, and it's quite long now. I have nightmares every week where I suddenly have short hair, it's frightening!

I was watching the Porcelain Heart vid and caught a small glimpse at Mendez... really its just not the same without his long hair. It will be funny seeing him live without the "nono" headbangs. But whatever, one has to respect his decision.

however, guys always look better with long hair, imho, Mendez completely killed my aesthetic crush on him.
