Running/owning a music store

That's interesting. You're basically running a brick&mortar pawn shop via eBay!
Basically yes ... a modern day consignment shop.

This is big shit on the West Coast, companies like www.quikdrop.com, www.auctiondrop.com have started last year and are already franchising their operations.

Nobody really doing it in NYC yet, not on a large scale anyway ... and as you know there is a lot of good stuff to be sold here.

I dig that digadeal.com bit, pretty cool.

Angel Heart is a FUCKED UP movie, but last I watched it I was about 9 so that may be why. Lisa Bonet was the hottest Cosby Kid by a longshot. :loco:

Yeah I'll thank everyone in advance for helping out if this goes through, and of course thanks for the all the replies thusfar, but OBVIOUSLY this topic was going to get huge considering the general mindset 'round these parts. :Spin:

Under a Stone: What I meant was that the owner of the shop gets to buy that used copy of "Deathcrush" on original vinyl for $3 and keep it for himself... that's why you never see the good stuff on the shelves. :p
That's why I couldn't work at these kind of places...nothing would end up on the shelves :o

You just reminded me of the (possibly) most foolish thing I did this summer. I visited this killer metal/alternative music store in Gothenburg, and bought quite a lot of albums. I decided to check out the "Used vinyl and various stuff" section after I'd paid for them. I shouldn't have done that.

Having just spent all my money on the abovementioned CDs, I found quite a few "rarities" (understatement of the year), such as these:

Immortal - Destroying Vienna (Coloured vinyl, 500 copies)
Mayhem - Deathcrush Pic LP
Mayhem - Pure Fucking Armageddon
Deeds Of Flesh - Path Of The Weakening Pic LP
Darkthrone - Panzerfaust LP (with a different cover than the CD version)
Darkthrone - Goatlord Pic LP (didn't even know these existed)
Darkthrone - Soulside Journey LP
Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky LP

Etc. Etc. :yell:

Henrikmain needs a credit card to avoid such atrocities in the future. :Spin:

The Underpants Gnomes are probably the best thing South Park did since Jesus fought Santa.

I left it at home :erk: Oh well, the fair city of Gothenburg is only three hours from where I live, so I guess I'll have to return soon to claim what is rightfully mine :p

Don't get mad, that wasn't the original 1986 Posercorpse release. :p
