Nice dude!!! Specs sounds great, black hawks in Swamp Ash/maple work great.

Chris(owner) is an absolute gent and has the best customer service I've come across in the guitar business.

sounds like it's going to be really awesome!

yeah, so stoked about the evertune also, hope it can deliver.

btw, it was you who told me about sabre IIRC :D

absolutely! :kickass::headbang:

i think the black hawks will kick ass within a swamp ash body,
tightness is the keyqord :D

Looks interesting. Never heard of these guys, prices are fairly reasonable for all-custom, too!

absolutely!

another thing that has caught my attention is the CNC based workflow.
i am a precision freak, i often see damn expensive guitars which were
just not precisely built, especially when it comes to things like fret slot cutting by hand....absolute horror! :D

I think I can remember that chat :D
There are way to many awesome luthiers out there and way too little money on my bank account

honestly i felt a bit shaky, especially because i got my mayones custom recently. i just kinda fell in love with the sabre design etc. so i just had to place an order :)

WOW man, that dude builds some seriously beautiful guitars!
Some of the wood he used is amazing.

GOD DAMNIT I NEED MONEY.

Congrats on the build man, sure it will turn out great!

yeah, just gorgeous...already saw this one, I looked at every photo on their FB and homepage

this one is just awesome as well

the pic of the spalted maple he has really screams "GUITAR ME DAMNIT!!"

here's some first pics of the wood that will be used. still not sure if i want the body natural or stained but i guess i will go with a dark yellow/amber stain.

Awesome Ziricote board!!

Swamp Ash is one of those woods that looks great natural or stained. The grain really pops out when its stained. Personally I'd go natural but I really love what Mayones have done with their Swamp Ash builds.

yeah man, that fingherboard is amazing!
i'd go for a yellow/amber style stain on the ash i think, somethig like this one, just a bit more darker...
