Ex-Crimson Glory singer, Midnight (John Patrick Jr. McDonald) died this morning from "total kidney and liver failure" (being an alcoholic).
Loved Transcendence from the first time I heard it, and Crimson Glory played a huge part in me getting into Power Metal back in the early 90s. So for the part he played in that, I am a bit bummed.

Now why do I get the feeling that this year's ProgPower will have some sort of Midnight Memorial to honor his passing. Seems like it'd almost be a given after all the love they've given Midnight over the years.
