Saint Deamon

The cd is great. The only less than brilliant song might be the Scorpionesc ballad My Sorrow that probably is a bit too "saucy" for most metal fans. I like it though, brings back memories of my leg warming days of -85. The rest of the songs are solid to say the least.

I like the singer, and also enjoy a couple of the tunes, but I think the lyrics are pretty lame overall. I haven't been able to make it all the way thru the disc yet, so I guess all told I'd only give it an average rating. They are talented enough musically, and vocally so I would expect them to be pretty good live.

Listened to this CD once or twice when I first learned of their PP performance. Wasn't impressed. Just queued it and I'm really digging on me. Nothing spectacular. Well done Power Metal with a strong vocalist.

I hope I don't discover that I enjoy any more bands on the roster. That would seriously cut into my bar time.

I'm predicting that Saint Deamon will have the same effect on the PP crowd as did Vision Divine. Most of us went into the VD performance pickin' our noses and came out of it really impressed with them. :p
