Yup- I managed to download it as well and can hear where stuff is coming from. But it took me some time to get used to the way it sounds ( the original)
I got a great album by an israeli singer from Eden. Cannot remember her name now- he was so kind as to write the name in hebrew, thank you- but I am sure you will enjoy her music as well. There are some songs in hebrew and some in english. I think her name is something like Nini- her voice is amazing!
If you have any other other oriental artists to recommend, I am still very much interested.

Samra ya Samra is a great song, and Um Kultum was playing in my parents house when I was a crawling baby, so its natural for me to play it
