I recently bought a PSA-1 for dirt cheap(see my other thread) and havent had a chance to use it yet. I can trade it for an RBI and possibly make some money on the deal. Considering I will be using it strictly for DI bass in studio environment, would the RBI be better? The RBI is the rackmount version of the BDDI and I know how much everyone loves the BDDI for bass.

I much prefer the BDDI to the RBI. I've tried the RBI several times and never picked it over the BDDI - the functionality is great but in my opinion the tone just isn't quite there. I'd still wait and try the PSA-1 before you pick between it and the BDDI.

I gotta show some love for the psa-1 hardware (have not tried the plugin).

AWESOME bass preamp!

Have you tried it on kick drum? Check it! BUZZ!!!

Please and THANK YOU!
