Soooo my sister and I went to a local (Boston) show of band for a few guys she works (one of which she was trying to hook me up with). Well, two cute girls, alone with alcohol, we got a bit of attention from strolling boyos one of which looked like Rick Astley. So we told Rick and his buddy Mike that we're actually girlfriends of the bands. And the bands guys played along during their breaks. The guy I was meeting plays a Schecter and is quite funny. Many bonus points. Now I've been drinking (with the help of some lonely looking fellows and the shots my sister didn't want) soooooooo I have the Killers stuck in my head along with a medley of Kamelot songs. And Fat Bottom Girls by Queen. Weeeeeeeeeee. I don't know why my sister is.

Saw Niyaz live at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre on Friday night. Great venue and we had third row seats. Every single one of the musicians on stage was amazing and each got little solo-ish sections over the course of the night to really showcase what their instrument could do. First live show I have been to in at least 5 years.
