What's been going on with Code666 lately? They've been dropping bands left and right, you'd think they'd be releasing whatever they could in a very timely fashion.

what bands did they drop now?

i really like those guys behind the label as they are great people ... but I believe they tried to overexpand in too many directions too fast this past year.
there has been deafening silence from code for the last 4-5 months.

Unhinged is one of the best artists I've come across in years.

When I release my album of fart noises put to metal tunes, I'm definitely going to put up the money to get Unhinged to do the artwork.

Seriously though, his stuff is just brilliant.

I really need to listen to that Scald album you sent me NADster.

Should I just dive right in, or is there an album that represents the "style" better that would be a better way to ease in?
well it's their debut and only album so far, so have at it. :loco: edit: wait, wasn't there some old EP as well? aw shit, what kind of fanboy am i?!?!?

i have some of the older Nematoid demos but Headworm is way better. think i'll toss that on and scare the neighboUrs now. :Smokedev:

that cover is A class stuff. very professional and eerie

any clue as to what projects: "Since recording Vermiculatus Scald have also been working on a number of projects, two of which will be announced in the near future. Stay tuned...as they say."

Thanks for all the kind words chaps...
as for the cover
that isn't the 'actual' cover
the cover id a foldout card thing with six panels like an expanded gatefold album cover, there are no graphics or text on it, and the part you see there is actually a slipcase (like the cardboard promo sleeves) that holds the disc and slips inside the main sleeve.....if you like special packaging expect a boner
thae artwork on it is a small detail part from one of the inside panels of the main bit.

as for code666 , Its not a label that makes a lot of money so I guess everything needs to be dealt with carefully
a lot of planned releases for the early winter were delayed by the bands so the release schedule was all messed up so now theres a glut of material ready to go but only so much money to deal with it. obviously bigger sellers like negura bunget + diabolicum will have thier late albums released before scalds because the label will need the money to pay for ours

it would be a lot easier for code666 just to sign a bunch of bandwagon jumping dm + bm to sell to the sheep
