yeah i never truly got the thing about indrid cold...thats what makes it so scary... it was anything people imagined it as or something... i see the movie about once a year to keep the mystique living in it.
I DIDN'T THINK THE MOVIE WAS SCARY AT ALL THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT (WAS ON VIDEO AND I DIDN'T REMEMBER SEEING THE MOVIE TRAILERS FOR WHEN IT WAS IN THEATERS) WHEN I SAW IT THE 2ND TIME I SAW THE OPENING THING ABOUT HOW IT WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY AND THAT SEEMS TO BE THE PART THAT MAKES IT SCARY FOR EVERYONE BECAUSE IT TOTALY SUX WHEN COMPARED TO THE MOVIES WHERE YOU KNOW FOR SURE THERE'S NO WAY IN FUCKING HELL IT'S REAL

I have a real creepy thing about aliens. I am fascinated by them, but also shit scared of them. As a kid ET scared me, and still does :(

I see the movie about once a week because I'm obsessed :Spin:
Read the book...its the true story

And yea..certain scenes in Mothman Prophecies give me the shivers, too...and make me squeal like a cheerleader in heat.

Do you remember the mirror scene? Watch the mirror on the door when Richard Gere slams it :hypno:

Jason > Freddy, the fact that he talks and leaves stupid one liners makes him not scary. But... his powers to morph and shit i guess can be pretty scary... but still.. Jason can kick Freddy's ass.

Ok, don't laugh... Speaking of Scary movies...................
but Blaire Witch Project...
I love movies that you dont actually see anything, but your imagination works over time... thats a *real* scary movie for me...

Blaire Witch Project kind of ripped off another horror movie called Cannibal Holocaust. You should give that movie a try, unless you are opposed to/creeped out by lots of gore, images of extreme sexual and physical violence, and lots of animals being killed. It was pretty intense.

yeah its awesome... i love the scene where you get to see a geres point of view (the blurry figure in the distance) of cold... but my favourite scenes are how people describe indrid...like the woman that saw indrid under a tree on the yard...the paintings... and when they describe what indrids voice is on the phone...freaky stuff...everything is so bizarre in that movie

Pennywise from Stephen King's IT. Clowns never really bothered me til I saw that movie. Gonna have to read the book someday. A close second would have to be Jack Torrance from Stanley Kubrick's version of the Shining. Nicholson was awesome in the movie, he scares me verytime I watch it. :worship:
