i recently had the chance to play one and was blown away with the smoothness, your fingers practically fly over the fret board.
and regarding the schecter, im sure moonlapse has something to say about it; if i remember correctly, he recently acquired one.

Thing is with schecter, both me an my guitarist have one and too me i pay £400, which is about $640. So you know, cheap guitar. But it is good for the price you pay. But i played some higher models and i feel little difference. So if i was gunna spend £700/800 or about $1200 on a guitar id make sure it wasnt a schecter as it feels like cheap shite compared to many.

It comes down to prefference. If you've read the thread on Andy's forum, you'll see that 006, who owns a multitude of guitars preffers his C-7 Hellraiser over his high-end custom shop ESPs.
The thing about the Schecters is that they may not be the absolute top of the line guitar you'd buy if you had infinite cash, but for the price they actually give you some of the best components in a guitar that money can buy.
My Hellraiser is all mahogany, minus the rosewood fretboard. That's amazing. I'd have to shell out about $6,000 here for a PRS Custom 24 that's mahogany bodied. The Hellraiser comes stock with EMG 707 pickups, which cost an absolute mint.
I mean the idea that you can buy one of their guitars for such a ridiculously low price and have some of the best components you could possibly wish for STOCK is amazing.

I like the shape n stuff of my schecter which is like the one in the picture only its black with cream binding and has naked lady shapes in the fret board hahaha. But if you buy a guitar for the mid range sort of thing they are amazing value but as the prices go up, the guitars dont get much better and you can get way better guitars for what you would pay for the higher ranges of them.

Speaking of Korea.. it feels weird that my guitar purchase has helped to sustain a family's WoW addiction.

ok apparently they smoke crack, because those prices are way too low considering.the C-1 Hellraiser might just be on my "to buy" list.

I want the type of guitar that the Katatonia guitarists have. Mayones, or framus. Never tryed mayones. But framus are fucking lovely. Also fender jaguars. Not metal guitars but have a warmth and an edge to them and i think they are a smashing bit of kit.

its not Loomis he's cool and all but, its that pickup, that color, that binding, that bridge.

I have the C1 Classic in the blue finish and I LOVE it. It plays great and is built as well as my other 4 guitars. I love the pickups too! The only thing I didn't care for and I knew this going in are the "vine of life" inlays. The neck thru beats the one on my ESP.
If trying them out though make sure you try as many models as they have on hand. I noticed that of the 4 they had in stock, a couple had some minor flaws, from intonation, to the finish looking a bit off.
I hope to try a Hellraiser in that red finish...that looks like a monster! Who knows maybe I'll pick that one up too.
If my local GC would've had that one I might have gotten it at the time I picked up the C1.

After just owning a Schecter C1+ for the three years, I have now moved onto PRS. this one.
except with 24 frets.
But the Schecter treated me right, it sounds great with EMGs. I put EMGS in it and it sounds so amazing. I can not stress how much EMGs improve the sound. I love my guitar, but I had to move a step up so i got the PRS.

I have to ask. How does the tremolo on the PRS treat you? Do you need to lock and unlock the strings in order to retune it drastically? Does the tremolo let you go both ways?
I've always wondered. I've found Floyd Roses to be a complete nightmare to deal with, hence why I went tune-o-matic again. But the PRS use their own patented design or something don't they?
