Scott Ian Joins Big Dave Durring Peace Sells

He WAS permitted to join them. You can clearly see Junior walk away from the mic instead of doing his backup vox to make room for Scott. If he had run out there unannounced, Mustaine would've applied his kung-fu grip as he did a few years back when that fan rushed him on stage. haha

Expect more of these "incidents." Don't be surprised to see Mustaine, Het, and Ulrich on stage together at some point.

I would love to see that, perhaps like a Diamond Head or Blitzkrieg song, can't see them doing Mechanix or anything and thats if Hammett can set aside his ego

This is very cool, and if I was at a Big 4 show, I would not only love to see this happen, but almost expect it, as much as you expect a drunken football fan sitting in front of you at the game...

I was there when that happened. Definitely one of the highlights that day!!

Is it just me or do the Anthrax guys seem the most excited about this Big 4 thing?

Anthrax is the band with the worst spot trying to get some attention too ^^

Well, Anthrax always do this kind of stuff. Saw them on a small festival in germany with Down playing just before them and they had Charlie drumming for Down and Phil singing I Am The Law with Anthrax (now that i think about it, they should get him, he owns Bush and Joey combined ^^)

Just what Scott and Charlie want to deal with--someone with heroin issues. Well Scott have been accused of trying to be dimebag in the past so this would be spot on for him

I was talking from a performance-perspective. Socially i gave up on Anthrax around 2005, so i don't give a shit anymore if they got a drug-addict in the band.

Ok, so it wasn't planned:

Scott Ian sang on stage with you in Switzerland. How did that come about?
It surprised the crap out of me. All of a sudden I heard someone bellowing really loud and I thought ‘Man, Chris Broderick is singing really loud today’ and I turn around and Scott’s on my mike singing. That was unplanned unless Dave mentioned it to him, but with ‘Peace Sells’ that’s sort of our come-one, come-all singalong sort of song, so anybody who might be out there watching in the wings, we’re like ‘come on, get on out here’. Scott happened to be that guy in Switzerland

Neither do I actually. As long as they make a new album thats all I really care about. What Scott is doing this week for a hobby, etc i could give a shit less about.

Scott gets his face in everything, he "turns up" (HA!) in other band's autobiographies and DVDs and stuff all the time. I just think he wants the publicity which is fine, although it doesn't seem to have helped the album sales.
