Wow.
I'm really surprised to hear this much negativity about SOWN.

I thought that when they went from POT to SOWN, it was monumental jump in quality...all the way around. Vocals, music, production, the whole gig improved.

I agree totally. I liked Anthrax with Joey, but I couldn't really call myself a "fan" back then. They weren't high on my priority list, and most of their albums I would wait to buy them used or in bargain bins. SOWN made me a fan.

As for the sellout debate, another vote to Greg for putting it succinctly.
