Seveth Wonder at ProgPower?

I just picked up Waiting in the Wings at PP and I am loving it. I'm really stuck on Taint the Sky right now and just love the vocals. I'll be picking up the new cd as well and would love to see them at PP!

Man, if Mercy Falls is considered somewhat underwhelming, Waiting In The Wings must be a really kick ass album, because I think Mercy Falls is one of the standout albums I bought at ProgPower. Yes, concept albums are usually a little cheesy, but I think the songs are great.

Please go to the NIGHTMARE FEST Forum site for some interesting Information on Seventh Wonder.

Mercy Falls is album of the year for me.

I know Mr. H. gives the nod to Sabaton's The Art of War. But I never cease to be amazed by the melodies, the soaring vocals, and the sheer joy (despite the dour subject matter of the concept) of Mercy Falls.

Sure, the spoken parts suffer from a lack of acting ability. But the vocalist is jaw-dropping. And the production is truly amazing.

I listen to a ton of CDs. But I always come back to Mercy Falls.

This album is really starting to grow on me. I have been spinning it heavy and I like it more with each spin.

I am so engulfed by this album now that all other discs are (temporarily) laid aside...

The list for PP is full I guess, so I just started a thread to push for BAR fest to get them over.
Would of course be cool with me either way, but chances are that the PP roster won't change further (massive as it already is).

There is always the showcase or pre party (whatever we are calling it now) . There is also always a chance a band may pull out. I hope not as I like the line up the way it is.

This is like the perfect band for Prog Power. The singer is excellent. The concept on Mercy Falls is a bit cheesy, and the spoken word parts are suspect, but the songs are well performed, and catchy as all hell. They would go over extremely well .. hope to see them in the future.

WAITING IN THE WINGS is one of my favorite albums but this new one has not really done a lot for me. I hope it will grow on me more as I was really looking forward to it. Regarless, I would like to see them at the showcase next year or PPXI.

Have not heard the new album yet, but i agree waiting in the wings is fantastic; that didn't leave my CD player for months.

I broke out Waiting on the Wings last night, while kickin' back on my front porch. Simply put, it rocks in a major way! :headbang: There's not a weak track on it in my opinion. It's proggy and the band likes to "noodle" some, but the lead vocalist always brings it back home for me. :worship: There's so much passion in his voice! :OMG: In the words of 7th Saviour...10/10 for me!
