Hmm, i don't think it's healthy to completely stop having them..I'd guess it might cause incapability of having kids or something..But i don't know. Though birth control pills aren't supposed to be used to completely stop having periods, that's what the instructions say.

Btw: about the girls suffering at giving birth for being intellgent: that was kinda of an exchange the human race had for gaining intelligence. The erect walking posture humans have is what permited us becoming intelligent, since the position of the head in relation to the vertebral spine allowed for a much bigger cranium and brain than in animals that walk on 4 (in which the spine reachs the head from the back, not from the bottom). On the other hand, walking erect is the same reason why human females suffer when giving birth. The bones of the hips are not in a good position for a baby coming out. Mammals who walk on 4 legs have a different bone structure in the hips, allowing them to deliver MUCH more easily.
