Shit awful mix, badly programmed bass and the snare from hell. (refreshing title!) Ha

Yeah, it's not great. Vocalist bailed so i had to learn to do this in a week! Hahahahahaha

Iäm gonna delay the CD a wee bit more so i can work on this.

But it's positive, at least, yeah?

It was a shure sm57 to an edirol ua-25 preamp.

Preferably vocal performance...

I do however like the sm57 for growls, though, hahah.

But yeah, i've only been doing vox for 1 week so any pointers would be great!

I reuploaded the mp3, compressed it less....

I'm actually drinking a pint of nesquick prior to warming up with the Zen of screaming CD.

Check the link again....

:D:D Cheers man!

Yeah, need to work on pitching. Also actually forming words at speed. Nemesis is quite a slow song for vox.. figured it's a good starting point.

yeah, just keep doing it...

I dont have such a bad vocal, but the only thing I have recorded was that song "Echoes"... our bassist used to do the part, but he was sick and so was I... hence the distortion... you could also try that... a bit of amplitube on vox gives it a bit of grit... dont overdo it like I did, though... lol

Wow that sounds fucking awesome even if you had been singing for years! nvm a first attempt!....maybe this has boosted my confidence in the fact I might have to sing sometime soon for the first time :)

sounds better than my shitty vocals, that's for sure.

your voice is a combo of amon amarth and thomas lindberg, so be proud.
