today was the first time I cry in a while.

I grew up with Warrel, Nevermore, and you guys all being a large part of my life. This wasn't the best way to have all the nostalgia come back but it reminds me how much I cherish it.

RIP Warrel. I'll always remember the influence you had on me and probably helping me survive my teen years, as well as the inspiration you were to me. Thanks for the experience, I'll never forget it.

Shit man, gutted to read this. WD was a huge influence on all of us, and many of us are friends to this day because of Nevermore. Hell, even this forum was part of my life for so long, and the music much, much more so.

Really sucks. Found Nevermore right after their self titled. Super dark time, music hit the spot in every way. It wasn't until DNB that I realized he wasn't only a great vocalist, but an amazing writer and poet.

By far my favorite artist, absolutely cherished his vocals and lyrics.

It always irked me that he was seemingly always the one dragging their feet with new projects. Sad to know the odds of his novel ever seeing the day of light is slim to none.

Amazing talent. Sad day today...

Pretty easy to figure out if you consider refuge denied was 88, and he was in serpents knight in 83.

Right... I've spent my work breaks in my car, just blasting Nevermore as loud as I can, and I don't think it's hit me yet that the man who sounds so fierce and energetic in those recordings is gone.

WTF??? This just ruined an otherwise decent day for me. RIP. First Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, Martin Eric Ain and now WD. Sucks.

Glad I had the chance to check out Nevermore back in 05 on Long Island.
