Should I buy Rock In Rio?

  • YES. Stop being so bloody stubborn! It's worth it to hear Bruce singing Sign of the Cross.

If you can only get one, get Maiden England. Great video, even if it's directed/edited/almost ruined by Steve Harris. Quite funny at the beginning - he has little filmic bits before/during each song - the photo montage during the beginning of Moonchild before they come on stage, all the icecaps breaking at the beginning of... umm, whatever the second track is (Evil That Men Do?), and stuff from The Prisoner TV series during the spoken intro to The Prisoner... and then it all suddenly stops. I guess he got bored with it. :)

yea he should have kept doing that stuff throught the whole movie.

when you watch maiden england, there is a guy about 4 rows back in the middle who frowns the whole time, looks like he's not getting into it at all, untill the last two or so songs when he starts to go mental. Have a look for a laugh

If you only have money for one, rio is the way to go, but if i were you i would try to get both but i don't have either and i am in the predicament as you are

get the cd and the dvd or RIR ........
it's worth it ....
and get the dvd from like target or Big W cause it's cheeper there than any other store i have been too ....

brave new world on RIR is really good ... they done the whole thing very well ... i belive i did a whole posty about it not long ago in this forum

if your talking RIR dvd...only get it if you have a 5.1 surround system. On just stereo the mix sounds...odd in some parts.

I think I would probably get Maiden England myself...i bought RIR and the whole 5.1 thing dissapointed me. They should have at least thrown in a 2.0 stereo track the pricks.
