Don't like their new stuff? If they headline, I promise you they'll play tracks of Fourth Dimension and Episode. If you REALLY want to hear Fright Night stuff...get help!

I agree that Stratovarius has been a bit boring starting with the Destiny album, but they are still one of the greatest power metal bands ever. I'm sure they would play a lot of older songs from Episode, Visions, etc. They sure as hell are much better than Axel (the most overrated guitarrist ever) and Running Wild (even more boring and repetitive, although I love their music up until Black Hand Inn) IMO.

How many of you guys have heard Elements part 1? I got it the other day, and it is outstanding. I thought Destiny was pretty good, but Infinite was where it started to get boring...regardless, whichever way you think, they have finally pulled out something fresh with this album. It's not a totally new sound...it's definitely the same Stratovarius that we know and love, but the writing and orchestrations of this album are quite fresh, and the big, epic sound works wonders to revitalize Stratovarius. Obviously, yes, I can think of few bands I'd rather see at PP 4.
Its all a matter of opinion. Everyone likes something different.
For me I like alot of Power Metal, but I also dislike alot of power metal (not that I hate it, just bores me, or does nothing for me).

I don't think it's a good idea to book a band that recently alienated a large percentage of their own fanbase and is already receiving some bad reviews for their latest album...
