Stratovarius kicks ass no matter what and would rip apart this festival. You are talking about one of, if not the grestest keyboard player of the genre in Jens Johannson, and one of the greatest guitar players in Timo Tolkki. They deserve to headline this festival, and I am praying that they are the band from Europe that has been booked. And General Zod, have fun cd shopping if that is the case; just leaves more room for us Stratovarius diehards!!! This band is so great that they are headlining the Wacken festival this year! If they are good enough to headline Wacken, something tells me that it would be a no-brainer for them to headline ProgPower.

Apparently I missed something...guess I don't stay up on my metal news. How did they alienate a large percentage of their fanbase? And could you provide links to some negative reviews?

dude why would you wanna read - reviews? and the album it's on top charts in some european places so it depends on where you look it at

I want to read reviews to see why they think the album is bad, then use my own set of criteria to see if I agree with their logic, or can at least see where they're coming from.

well at least buy the album, have your own opinion on it, and then read the rviews and compare. That will be a better idea

Definetely YES... They are great musicians and I would love to see them...
