Just grabbed the demo, sounds amazeballs by itself but if you have an instance of VCC before it, ERMAGHERD!

surely if you are bouncing a mix to 2 track it will run through the bus, and then out to the tape machine. if its on the 16 track models then obviously it makes sense to run it before VCC.
It will go through the 2 buss on the desk first if you're printing to half inch tape

Downloaded the demo. Just wanted to say it installed perfect on my vista 64 machine although it doesnt say that it is supported in any of the system requirements on the Slate Digital site. Thought it might be usefull info for the 2 other people on planet earth still running that os.
Also, It sounds awesome. I found it really easy to dial in saturation I liked. Im not a tape expert but have recorded in studios with tape before (Otari and MCI machines) and I think the positives of that sound I experienced are pretty spot on here. I will be buying very soon.

As already answered, on the master bus. Looking forward to trying the 16 track > VCC on each channel of a project, then running it through VCC > 2 track real soon.

+1 VCC is cool but VTM definitely makes a bigger difference to the overall sound of things.
I am new to this ilok thing. Slate VTM says it comes with one, does that mean they mail you that USB thing?

oh damn, i gorgot, stupid ilok site doesn't work with any never browser, IE, opera,
firefox all do not work, need to find an old firefox 3.0 installer, wish me luck...

FF13 also but i always get the message that the active X thing used to communicate with the ilok does not work, in FF 3 it works flawlesly.
ok, i just had a quick test on a drum bus...not sure if tape is supposed to do this but i sounds like the plugin adds tons of punch and very clear low/hiend
to the signal
...i always thought that tape makes things sound more softer!?

Im aiming for unity on individual tracks and I'm pushing the 2bus instance a little bit harder. Placed it near the end of my 2bus chain, just before the limiter on this clip

I definitely hear a good difference. So is this like RC Tube, it goes across every track with a bus version that controls them all on the master bus?
