SLAYER's longtime manager Rick Sales had previously commented on the tour, "We want to make 'The Unholy Alliance' tour an annual global event, so we decided to be smart about the design from the beginning. We chose to book most of the tour's shows at indoor venues, as that allows the bands and the fans amenities like air conditioning and indoor bathrooms, as well as the very best stage lighting, production, and sound and less expensive concession prices. The few shows that will be played outside will be played at night in permanent facilities with our lighting, production, and so on. Everyone wins."

Children of Bodom would be my only reason for going to this tour. I saw them back on their tour with Fear Factory and Lamb of Shit. They fucking owned that night and I am a big Fear Factory fan too. After Fear Factory's killer set, we left because we hate Lamb of God. How that shit gets msitaken for metal, I will never know.

ALBANY NY MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!

They actually announced this at the In Flames concert I was at, but I was waiting to see the confirmed date

Slayer is fucking awesome. I know the midwest is lame, but still there are some die hard fans here, and we are getting damned tired of driving 6 or 7 hours to see our fave bands when there ARE actualy CITIES here. Its not like these bands have to play in a shed, or on a farm, but COME ON!! Anthrax is one of the few bands that at least it seems to make an effort to come here.

I like LOG, Mastadon, and of course SLAYER and will definitely be at the Cincy show. I've never seen Slayer in any venue other then smaller clubs before so this should be interesting.

i agree , they've grown tierd on me. i'd like to think the new cd will be interesting but, i think it'll be more of the same thing they've done for the last 20 years, which is cool for a lot of fans. just not me.

Personally I lost interest in Slayer after South Of Heaven. I tried to watch one of their recent dvd's that I borrowed from a friend and it bored me within 3 songs.

AGreed....though live they still play those older songs, I don't care for their pre 1991 albums either.
