Slight clipping noise when detuning toms in TRIGGER?

Alright, so here's a comparison of the New Maple Toms detuned to about -5 and at their default tuning in SSD Trigger. The detuned ones seem to sound like there's some sort of clipping going on in the higher frequencies.

They both have the same processing and nothing on the master bus.
Is anyone else hearing this/having this problem?

YES!! I ran into this with the latest version of TRIGGER. It was fine before I updated but I am mixing a record at the moment and the pitch shifting algo they use (or more likely, a bug) causes any samples you have to sound like shit! Sounds like the bits are being reduced or something. TONS of nasty stuff happeniing.
